What Jonathan brings
Professional flying, instruction, and maintenance experience in one cockpit.
He holds ATP, CFI, CFII, MEI, and AGI certificates and ratings, along with an Airframe and Powerplant mechanic certificate and high-performance, complex, and tailwheel endorsements. That broad background allows him to teach beyond basic maneuvers and checkride preparation. His instruction connects aircraft systems, sound judgment, risk management, and real-world operating discipline.
Jonathan works with aircraft owners, recurrent pilots, rusty pilots, and students seeking thoughtful, individualized instruction in suitable customer-provided aircraft. Each lesson is tailored to the pilot’s experience, aircraft, goals, and operating environment rather than forced into a one-size-fits-all program.
His approach is professional, patient, and direct. Pilots can expect clear expectations, honest feedback, practical explanations, and a defined path forward after each lesson.
At Lima Juliet Aviation, the goal is simple: help pilots become safer, more knowledgeable, and more confident—one purposeful lesson at a time.
